Galadari strengthens Dispute Resolution practice with new partner Hasan Elshafiey

Galadari Advocates & Legal Consultants is delighted to welcome Hasan Elshafiey as Partner in the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice. A bilingual qualified lawyer and arbitrator with over 19 years of experience, Hasan brings extensive expertise in international arbitration, complex local and cross-border litigation, especially in the energy and construction-related disputes. His arrival further strengthens Galadari’s disputes and arbitration capabilities across the Middle East.

Hasan has built a distinguished career advising multinational corporations, government entities, and leading contractors on high-value disputes in the construction, energy, infrastructure, ESG, real estate, insurance, joint-venture and investment sectors. He has acted in major international arbitrations administered under ICC, LCIA, DIAC, QICCA, and SCCA rules, and has also served as arbitrator in significant regional matters.

His professional background includes senior positions with leading international and local law firms across the UAE and the wider GCC region, where he advised on significant disputes involving oil and gas, railways, ports and airports, iconic stadium developments,  submarine cable networks, and major highway projects throughout the Middle East.

Hasan’s academic credentials include a master’s degree from the University of London, a Post Graduate Diploma in International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sharia Law from Alexandria University, where he also earned his LL.B.
