Legal Associate (4–6 Years PQE)- IP Practice Specialist
We are looking for a proactive and commercially oriented Legal Associate to join our IP practice. The role involves not only hands-on work in Intellectual Property and Data Protection laws but also acting as a key coordination point between clients, the firm’s corporate and litigation teams, and internal stakeholders.
Experience: 4–6 years PQE
Practice Areas: Intellectual Property, Data Protection & Regulatory Laws
Location: Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities
– Advise clients on Intellectual Property matters including trademarks, licensing, enforcement, and portfolio management
– Handle data protection and privacy compliance, policies, and related regulatory advisory
– Draft and negotiate commercial, technology, and IP-related agreements
– Serve as the primary coordination point between the client’s corporate and litigation requirements and the firm’s respective practice teams
– Liaise with internal corporate and dispute resolution teams to ensure seamless delivery of advice and strategy
– Manage timelines, information flow, and client communications across multiple practice areas
– Support and actively participate in business development, client acquisition, and practice growth initiatives
– Assist in pitches, proposals, seminars, and thought leadership activities
Skills:
– Qualified lawyer with 4–6 years PQE
– Strong experience in Intellectual Property and Data Protection laws
– Exposure to corporate, commercial, regulatory, or litigation matters is preferred
– Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate cross-practice matters
– Client-facing mindset with interest in business development
– Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills
– Commercially aware, detail-oriented, and proactive
