With around seven years of experience in the legal practice, Faizan has worked on numerous high-value transactions and has advised many sophisticated clients across diverse sectors and jurisdictions on non-contentious matters, including renewable and thermal electricity generation, electricity transmission and distribution, oil and gas including long-term RLNG supplies, ride-hailing and transportation, mines and minerals, education, construction and healthcare.
His most recent assignment involved advising and representing a Fortune 500 food and beverage company on an acquisition valued at approximately USD 300 Million.
In addition to the above, Faizan also has extensive experience in dispute resolution. He has represented clients in connection with shareholder disputes, regulatory and judicial review proceedings, high-value international commercial arbitrations conducted before forums such as London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and other ad-hoc tribunals, and proceedings related to the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards and decrees, including the foreign arbitral awards under the New York Convention.
