Paul Baloukjy is a Junior Associate at Galadari Advocates & Legal Consultants, based in Dubai and working within the firm’s Corporate Department. His practice focuses on corporate and commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance and real estate, with experience spanning the UAE, Qatar, Lebanon, and the United States.

Paul has advised on the re-domiciliation of UAE entities, including the transfer of the UAE subsidiary of a multi-billion-dollar international group from DIFC to DMCC, covering corporate structuring, licensing and regulatory requirements. He has drafted and negotiated key transactional documents such as share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements and instruments relating to structured financial products between UAE and DIFC entities.

His experience includes participating in due diligence exercises on UAE subsidiaries of international groups in connection with proposed listings on foreign stock exchanges and drafting detailed legal opinions on issues under UAE civil and commercial codes. Paul also regularly advises on company incorporations, liaising with local authorities to ensure full compliance and timely execution.

Prior to joining Galadari, Paul trained in the M&A department of an international law firm in Doha, where he worked on joint venture restructurings, regulatory transitions within the QFC framework, and complex contractual reviews. He also gained substantial litigation support experience as a personal injury lawyer in New Jersey, assisting with multi-million-dollar trials and discovery in US courts.

With training in both civil and common law systems, Paul offers a cross-border perspective that enhances his practice. His fluency in Arabic, English, and French allows him to collaborate effortlessly with clients across the region and globally.
