Fadi is a partner with Galadari Advocates & Legal Consultants, managing the Abu Dhabi office. He is a qualified lawyer with over 20 years of work experience in Lebanon and the UAE. Fadi specialises in corporate and commercial matters, litigation and dispute resolution with a focus on the practice areas of real estate, employment & labour, financial crime and criminal law, in the UAE and throughout the GCC region. He was formerly the head of the Abu Dhabi office of a prominent local law firm in the UAE. Prior to that, he worked with Beirut Legal as a Partner and Naoum Farah Law Firm heading the litigation department in Beirut, Lebanon.
Fadi is experienced in all forms of dispute resolution including litigation, arbitration and mediation. Several of his largest clients include prominent insurance companies covering several areas of law. He has represented and succeeded in criminal complaints, civil and commercial disputes, personal injury, and large-scale arbitration claims.
His corporate experience is extremely varied, Fadi recently restructured a USD130 million local Emirati family group following the passing away of its founding member, which included the implementation of a new corporate governance structure for all subsidiaries and executing tax optimisation on an operational level in four different jurisdictions – United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Colombia and the United States of America.
Fadi’s negotiating skills are revered, as such he led negotiations and closed a corporate restructuring scheme agreement made between one of the Middle East’s largest banks and a major prominent local entity with the value of 1.4 Billion Dirhams. His experience with joint ventures includes, assisting and advising a leading UAE master developer to establish a multi-million USD joint venture related to a construction project in the UAE and Morocco and advising and assisting an entertainment company on a joint venture project with a local Abu Dhabi entity.
His client list is diverse and includes, governmental entities, international conglomerates, oil & gas companies, real estate developers and advertising & publishing companies.
Fadi qualified in Beirut, Lebanon having completed his LLB in private and public law from La Sagesse University and a diploma in business and corporate law (Droit Des Affaires) from the University of Montpellier I, France. He was admitted to the Beirut Bar Association in 1999. Fadi is fluent in Arabic, French and English.
