ADCCI is Launching arbitrateAD

From February 1st , 2024, a new international arbitration centre known as the Abu Dhabi International Arbitration Centre (arbitrateAD) will be launched by Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The headquarter of the new dispute resolution platform, arbitrateAD, will be based in Abu Dhabi and will have its own rules which will replace those of the Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Centre (ADCCAC).

It is worth mentioning that the constitutional structure of the arbitrateAD will comprise HH Abdulla Mohamed Al Mazrui, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who will be on the board of the arbitrateAD, and Gary Born, from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, who will be the Vice Chairman, in addition to other important figures who will administer the operations of the arbitrateAD.

The arbitrateAD is another legal achievement that will boost the growth of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi which is considered a model business place that empowers the vision and future of the private sector and supports it to flourish and play its role efficiently.

The unfinished cases under the existing rules of ADCCAC will continue to be administered by the current team of ADCCAC.
